You downloaded the Lifesum app, what now?
Lifesum app can be used as a helpful tool to maintain weight ('Be Healthier' plan), to lose weight ('Lose Weight' plan), or to gain weight ('Gain Weight' plan). After opening the app, choose the plan that suits your needs, and follow the instructions in the app.
The goal is to finish the day with a full green Life Circle. If your Life Circle is red, that means you ate over your calorie goal, or you haven't been exercising enough. Follow the messages (feedback) to each meal to know if you ate too little, enough, or too much, and if you need to exercise more during the day. In addition you now have the Health Rating showing you the right direction.
The Life Circle is in your Diary. It shows how many calories you have to eat, as well as how many calories you ate and burned. The number in the middle of the Life circle (X kcal left) tells you how many calories more you can eat till you reach your daily calorie goal. Goal - (Eaten - Exercise) = that’s how much you can eat today.
A very useful additional tool that will make sure that you drink enough is the Water Tracker.
Lifesum offers a huge food database to choose food from but also offers you the possibility to create own food, meals, recipes and training in the so-called Favorites section.
