How do I add food to my Diary?

​There is several different options for tracking food in your Diary:

1) Manual search
Tap '+' in the tab bar at the bottom of the app, then choose the required meal. Then enter your keyword in the search bar, search for the food item and track it by clicking on the "+" to the right. Or click on the food item and then on "Add to Diary".

2) Tracking with the barcode scanner

Tap '+' in the tab bar at the bottom of the app, then choose the required meal. Then click on the scanner icon to the right under the search bar. Scan the code and then on "Add to Diary".

3) Tracking via meal in the Diary
Click on the meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks) and then proceed and add meal by either scanning, searching or choose from favorites

4) Tracking via Recent
In order to find Recents: Tap '+' in the tab bar at the bottom of the app, then choose the required meal.
On the next page you will get a respective list per meal with the following logic:

- Breakfast: shows the latest tracked breakfast food items
- Lunch: shows the latest dinner and lunch food items
- Dinner: 
shows the latest lunch and dinner food items
- Snacks: shows the latest tracked snack food items

5) Tracking Custom Calories

Tap '+' in the tab bar at the bottom of the app, then choose the required meal. On the next page you see the option "Calories" to the right under the search bar. Click on it and simply add the amount of calories you had and a short description of the food item and click "Add".

Tap '+' bottom right in the app, choose the meal you would like to track for. Then enter your keyword in the search bar, search for the food item by clicking on the magnifying glass in the keyboard and track it by clicking on the food item and then on the green round button to the right.

2) Tracking with the barcode scanner

Tap '+' bottom right in the app, choose the meal you would like to track for. Then click on the barcode scanner icon left hand.

3) Tracking via meal in the Diary
As long as you haven't tracked anything for a meal yet you can click on the meal icon under the meal name stating the recommended calories. Then proceed as described under 1) or 2).

4) Tracking via Recent and Favorites
In order to find Recent and Favorites: Tap '+' bottom right in the app, choose the meal you would like to track for.
You will then see the following list to choose from in the dropdown under the search field:

- Recent
- Frequent

- Favorites

5) Tracking Simple Calories
In order to find Simple Calories: go to your Diary, click on '+' and choose the meal you would like to track. On the next page you see the icon Simple Calories at the bottom of the page. Click on it and enter the title as well as the calories. Track by clicking on Save.

6) Tracking via Categories
In the Diary tap "+" to add food for a meal. On the next page you see the icon Categories. Choose the main category then the subcategory and then the food item. Track it by clicking on it and then on the green round button to the right.

7) Tracking using the Friends function
Go to Friends in the app then to the area where you can see the friend's tracked food and add it to your Diary by clicking on it and then on the green round button to the right.
